Official contest rules

Last updated 5 October 2026. These rules govern the 355 leaderboard contest. They form part of the Terms of service published at play355.app. Where the two differ about the contest, these rules prevail.

1. Sponsor

The contest is run and sponsored by Software Kit SRL, Rapsodiei nr. 1, Timișoara, Romania, the developer of 355 ("we", "us").

Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of this contest and is not involved in it in any way.

Google LLC is not a sponsor of this contest and is not involved in it in any way.

2. No purchase necessary

Entry is free. There is no entry fee, no wager and no stake, and coins, entries and places cannot be bought. Where the app offers a purchase, it only removes the ads shown between hands: it changes no score, clock, matchmaking, coins or prize. Playing a hand is the only way to take part.

3. Who can take part

You can take part if you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, hold one 355 account in good standing, and live in a country or territory where the contest is not excluded (section 9). The country on your profile must be the one you live in. Employees of the sponsor and members of their households may play but cannot receive prizes.

4. How the contest works

There are two games, open face Chinese and Pusoy, and each has its own leaderboards. Every hand you finish in a game counts toward three sets of that game at the same time, each of a different number of hands, shown in the app. When a set reaches its number of hands it is finished and a new one begins.

Each set size has its own leaderboard window: daily, weekly or monthly. Windows follow Coordinated Universal Time (UTC): a day runs from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC, a week from Monday 00:00 UTC, and a month from 00:00 UTC on the first day. Each finished set is a separate entry on the leaderboard of the window in which it was finished, whenever its hands were played, so a player who finishes several sets in a window can hold several places. Entries are ranked by score; if two entries have the same score, the one finished first ranks higher. You may discard an unfinished set and start it again once per game, per set size, per window; the hands in it then no longer count toward that set.

Hands are scored by the scoring table in force when they are played. A change to the scoring table or to set sizes takes effect from the next 00:00 UTC; a change to a leaderboard's prize pool or prize table takes effect from the start of that leaderboard's next window. A set that contains hands scored under two different scoring tables still counts as finished and is shown, but is not ranked or paid.

Every deal, clock, score and leaderboard position is decided by our servers. In open face Chinese, cards left unplaced when a clock runs out or a connection drops are placed by the game's automatic placement, and the result counts. In Pusoy, a hand not set when the clock runs out counts as a surrender.

Opponents at a table and entrants on a leaderboard may include automated players operated by us, which keep matches available at all hours. They play under the same rules, clocks and scoring, and can hold places on a leaderboard.

5. Coins

When a window closes, every entry in a place that the prize table shown in the app pays receives coins. Places that nobody fills are not paid and do not carry over. Coins can only be earned this way. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, have no value outside 355, and are forfeited if your account is deleted or closed.

6. Prizes

Coins can be redeemed in the app for the prizes available in your country, such as mobile airtime top-ups and, where offered, digital gift cards. The coin price of each prize and the minimum redemption are shown in the app before you confirm, and the app tells you if you reach a limit on how often you can redeem. Which prizes are available depends on your country and on our prize provider and can change. No Apple product is ever offered as a prize.

Prizes are delivered by our prize provider, Reloadly, to the phone number or email address you enter when you redeem. Check it carefully: a prize delivered to the details you entered cannot be recovered or replaced. If a prize cannot be delivered for any other reason, the coins are returned to your balance. Prizes have no cash alternative and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Gift cards are subject to their issuer's terms.

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to prizes you receive where you live.

7. Odds

355 is a game of skill. The outcome of a hand depends on how you arrange your cards, against the cards dealt. Your chance of placing depends on how well you and the other entrants play, and on how many entrants finish sets in a window.

8. Fair play and disqualification

One person, one account. Using software or outside help that chooses or suggests placements, holding or playing on more than one account, colluding with other players, or exploiting a bug or an error is not allowed. If we reasonably believe that an entrant broke these rules or the Terms of service, we may void the affected results, remove the entrant from leaderboards, cancel coins, withhold or reclaim prizes, and close the account.

9. Excluded territories

The contest is not open to residents of Belgium, Brazil, Italy, Norway and the Province of Quebec, Canada, and they may not redeem coins for prizes.

It is also not open in any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, or to anyone listed under the sanctions of the European Union, the United Nations or the United States.

Players in an excluded territory may still play 355, but may not redeem prizes. By redeeming, you confirm that you do not live in an excluded territory; a prize redeemed in breach of this section may be withheld or reclaimed. We may update this list when the law requires; the current list is always the one published at play355.app.

10. Results and publicity

Leaderboards and their results are shown in the app, with each entrant's username and country. Final results are those recorded by our servers when a window closes.

11. Changes and cancellation

If a technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond our control affects the fairness of a window, we may void or correct the affected results. We may change, suspend or end the contest, giving notice in the app or at play355.app; coins already earned stay redeemable for at least 30 days after the contest ends.

12. Law and contact

These rules are governed by Romanian law, without limiting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Questions about the contest go to admin@markosoft.ro.
